Soil and Groundwater Contamination Risk Assessment
Soil and Groundwater Contamination Risk Assessment
The Client planned to construct a police station on land that was used by a factory manufacturing pesticides. Due to the nature of manufacturing pesticides, both the soil and groundwater are very likely to be contaminated by leakage or spill of chemicals, processing water, and/or wastewater. To investigate whether the site was contaminated, we conducted a Phase II ESA to identify potential sources of contamination. Based on the result of site assessment, Anew professionals further developed a detailed sampling plan, which includes but is not limited to borehole locations, installation of groundwater monitoring and sampling wells, and sampling plan of groundwater and soil. Anew also conducted risk assessments of potential contamination on human health based on samples collected onsite.
